October 30th, 2010-Halloween Eve

Since Halloween fell on Sunday this year, we did our trick-or-treating Saturday night with the rest of Utah. First we went to our Ward's Halloween dinner at the church with Mandy, Anthony, and Mason, and then we headed out to collect candy.

Amy had so much fun at the dinner. She loved to run around with the other kids and play with them. One of the young men came dressed up in a witch's costume complete with a wig and ugly, long green nose. Amy was so scared of the "monster" and kept an eye on him all night long.

When we left the church it was pouring rain outside and it was cold. I was really wondering if we were going to get any trick-or-treating done at this point, but once we got over to Kurt's parents' house the rain had pretty much stopped.

Amy was so cute going up to all of the houses. She went all by herself and wasn't afraid to knock on the door or ring the doorbell. We had to keep reminding her to say trick-or-treat but everyone thought she was so cute. Hailey hung out in the stroller and eventually fell asleep. I think it was a pretty good Halloween Eve for the most part and next year I could do with out the rain!
